Im an artist. I was born this way. To make a living and raise a family in Northern Canada I took a detour and made my living as a custom hiking boot maker for 46 years. You can check me out on Google.  

     My email address still reflects this. Now I'm retired and drawing again. My joy is portraits because I find with them the greatest satisfaction in memorializing relationships and precious memories. I find the black and white and grays of graphite to be most expressive of what I think my clients want to capture and preserve.
